WHY Offic 2010?

WHY Office 2010?

- It makes my time worth well..

- In terms of documentation now is much easier than before. Thru Office Word before i can only do composing my word, but now i can do everything from a single letter to clip art which is wide of unlimited selection according to my subject and much more, also i can include a video to my document which is more credible and with this new version i don’t need to add or install other 3rd party software just to support my needs in creating documents and same thing on creating to my power point for my presentation. What’s good on to this new office 2010 is all in one or i mean one stop shop to everything that you need.

- My outlook is much more attractive to use due to much more feature to use from for your personal and business matters.

- I like my Office 2010 because Personal and Business lifestyle does MATTER. I Love It.

New Microsoft Office 2010

- Work anywhere with Office Web applications

- The lightweight Web browser versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote that provide access to documents from virtually anywhere and preserve the look and feel of a document regardless of device.
- Collaborate better with co-authoring in Microsoft Word 2010, Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 and Microsoft OneNote 2010, and advanced e-mail management and calendaring capabilities in Microsoft Outlook 2010, including the option for users to ”ignore” unwanted threads.
- Bring ideas to life with video and picture editing, broadcast capability in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, easy document preparation through the new Microsoft Office Backstage view, and new Sparklines in Microsoft Excel 2010 to visualize data and spot trends more quickly.
Microsoft also announced that it is streamlining the number of Office editions from eight to five and enhancing each edition with additional applications and features. The company also announced that Office Web applications will be available in three ways: through Windows Live, on-premises for all Office volume licensing customers, nd via Microsoft Online Services, where customers will be able to purchase a subscription as part of a hosted offering.
This will also be the first time Microsoft Office 2010 will be offered in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. On 64-bit Windows, more applications and documents may be opened at once, and switching among them will be faster because the machine can have more physical memory for the processes to share.
Another feature I believe will make it big in this 2010 version is the PowerPoint 2010 new feature called broadcast slideshow which allows presentors to broadcast their presentation over the Internet for remote view or for viewers over the network.
PowerPoint Broadcast Service makes it easy for PowerPoint 2010 users to share a presentation with anyone, anywhere. Just send a link, and in one click everyone you invite will be watching a synchronized view of your slide show in their browser, even if they don’t have PowerPoint 2010 installed.
And since Powerpoint Broadcast Service is Internet / Browser base, that means you can view the presentation using your mobile phones or any other device that can connect to the web and that comes with a browser.
Now can you imagine the impact of this new feature to our education system. Educators can now create their presentation, send the links to their students and knowledge sharing continues even outside the classroom.
Other new features of Microsoft Office 2010 worth mentioning are: Excel sparklines and slicers, screen captures, video editing, Outlook and OneNote improvements, enable to open in protected mode, drag-and-drop navigation pane, real time collaboration and communication, stronger security settings, and a lot more
